On a summer afternoon, four friends were anchored in Catalina and found ourselves in an unusual situation. All the boat work had been completed (fresh water pump was working!), we had gone on our morning beach walk/buffalo-sighting, it wasn’t quite warm enough to go in the water, too early to take a nap, and according to some, too early for cocktails. We found ourselves bored on board.

Sitting in the cockpit, we turned to the theater of real life and started calling out random things we spotted - a kayaker, a paddle boarder, a pirate flag, an A.W.O.L. floaty, etc. The light bulb went off. Let’s create a game that is part Bingo, part Eye Spy, and 100% fun.
